WATER LOOP
PHYS-09.2023
To better understand the relationship between our comforts and standards in the context of spaces we created water loops that incorporated computer fans, beakers, hot plates, and pumps. Individually we created a “chunk” that interacted with one of the states of water. These chunks were 3d printed, cnc’d, laser cut, and built with textures derived from the site of the “Lick Run Community Center”. After assembly, all four chunks moved water into various states through evaporation, condensation, melting, and freezing. The results were used to create water loops within a building.
