I feel that it is important to include my professional culinary work in my portfolio as it has been a huge part of my creative expression for the past 10 years. Correlations can be drawn between architecture and culinary arts in the form of craft, patience, measuring, and precision. To make the perfect croissant one must measure, test, and patiently build layers and layers of butter. A structure requires similar skills but with inedible material and more time.
